The FINAL Countdown!

Make A Splash Fundraiser “The Final Countdown” to benefit Norton Children’s Hospital

Louisville, KY, September – This year on National Taco Day, October 4th, Salsarita’s Fresh Mexican Grill with Make A Splash 4 Hearts will team up to help thousands of sick children throughout the region.

A Fundraiser to take place at Salsarita’s in St. Matthews and Middletown with 15% of the days food sales will benefit Norton Children’s Hospital. Since 2006, Salsarita’s has teamed up with local charities and in recent years the IHeart Team with Tony Vanetti and Dwight Witten have joined us with their live radio show on the patio in St. Matthews to support this worthy cause and share stories.

“Why are we so involved?? That’s easy our daughter, Samantha, is one of those cool kids. She’s  a BraveHeart! Not only is she a BraveHeart, she was welcomed into this world 6 weeks premature and the NICU took great care of her during those weeks. Many surgeries and year’s later she was given the opportunity to begin attending a camp supported by Norton Children’s Hospital.” Explains Pam Stallings, Samantha’s mom and CMO and VP of S.S. Restaurants.  “The camp played such a vital role in my life by giving me along with other children with heart disease a slice of summer fun and place to be a kid,” says Samantha Stallings, a Brave Hearts alum who has returned to camp as a counselor many years to continue to give back to those who have helped her. “She does this to thank the many doctors who founded the camp where kids with congenital heart defects can just go have fun. We are so proud of both of our children. Both know the importance of being there for others … by doing this we are giving back to the community as a way to say THANK YOU to those who have supported us in good times and struggles.”
